Digital Wellbeing of Adults with Disabilities (DigWell4PWDs)

Erasmus+ KA220-ADU  |  Project No: 2025-1-DE02-KA220-ADU-000359555
Coordinator: Outreach Hannover e.V. (Germany)

About the project

Digital environments increasingly shape everyday life, learning and participation. While digital tools can support
independence and social inclusion, adults with disabilities may face higher risks related to online safety,
digital exclusion and limited access to tailored support. At the same time, adult educators often lack practical,
accessible resources for addressing digital wellbeing and safer online participation in inclusive learning settings.

The project Digital Wellbeing of Adults with Disabilities (DigWell4PWDs) brings together six partner organisations
from five countries to develop accessible, practice-oriented educational resources and digital learning solutions
that strengthen digital wellbeing, online safety and inclusion.

Objectives

The partnership pursues the following objectives:

  • Strengthen digital wellbeing, online safety and inclusion of adults with disabilities through adult education.
  • Equip adult educators with high-quality, accessible educational tools and practical methodologies.
  • Develop accessible digital learning environments and online courses tailored to the needs of the target groups.
  • Strengthen European cooperation and exchange of good practices in adult education and inclusion.

Key activities

  • Project management: regular online coordination meetings and planned transnational meetings for alignment, quality management and reporting.
  • Development of results: creation of a handbook, toolkit, online platform and two online courses (educators + adults with disabilities).
  • Testing and feedback: piloting activities and consultations with relevant stakeholders and target groups.
  • Dissemination and sustainability: communication through partner networks and online channels; publication of open-access resources.
